Returns

Purchased for my daughter for Xmas, stated on listing as 12 months warranty. When I received invoice it stated 2 weeks. I messaged seller as item would be passed 2 weeks before the gift was opened, seller agreed to 30 days. The day item was opened it didn’t work so I started a return. Seller then messaged saying try this and that and hard reset worked. 10 days later it now has a blue screen and won’t work, seller then said oh it’s THE SCREEN OF DEATH send it back, next day eBay closed return and now seller won’t respond to messages.

eBay only allow 30 days for returns.    That's why it closed.   They don't get involved with warranties.    Try contacting your payment provider about a refund.

If 30 days has passed the item's last estimated date for delivery,   you cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.  You can tur to your payment provider now,  for help with your refund.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.
