Returns label won't be enough to cover the size of the parcel

I am in the process of returning an item, I've clicked on ebay royal mail return label

but I am sure if I print it and try sending the post will reject it due to the parcel size.

I thought I would be able to select size / tariff as you can when selling , now  I don't

how to proceed. can anyone help?

Returns label won't be enough to cover the size of the parcel

You'll need to contact eBay Customer Services, but do so first thing tomorrow morning when there's more chance of Dublin answering,  they will re issue the correct label for you,  and charge it to the seller's account.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

 https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

As said,  I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Returns label won't be enough to cover the size of the parcel

Hi tressygirl,

I actually did that very thing before I got your message, and yes, I did get put

through to Dublin.      A slightly different method was suggested in that I should go to my

post office and buy the postage label from them. I was also assured that the ebay  label

would not be charged for if it was not used.

I have suggested to ebay feedback that that they should be able to suss' out the returns

label value from what it cost to send the item to me in the first place, or allow the

'returnee' to be able to choose the right postage.

Many thanks for replying to my plea for help,  morrisj 57
