Returns and disputes

Hi , can someone advise me please? A buyer of an electrical item wants to return it as damaged even though it is most likely to be incompatible with his vehicle.  He’s raising a dispute. What can I do? Thanks 🤩

Unfair returns do happen from time to time but it is best to accept it.   If the buyer has to escalate to ebay they have been known to force the refund without return. 

The other thing to mention if the damage could have happened in transit and the buyer opens the relevant case ebay may issue a refund without return themselves but you keep the payment.
