Returns Request

Hello,

 

I sold an item via the Global Shipping Programme which was not eligible for return. The buyer has changed their mind and falsified a return request as item not described despite confirming they received the correct item in another message. I have spoken to various UK and US customer service agents who acknowledge this is buyers remorse but refuse to help close the request suggesting I need to speak to the customers local customer service department in Germany.  How I am supposed to get this resolved when I'm in the UK and the German department is uncontactable? It feels like I'm being bullied into accepting this return and help from eBay is non existent.

I am sorry but I think you're fighting a losing battle.   It's highly unlikely you will be able to contact German customer support.   eBay in general tend to side with buyers and their return system is more or less automatic.   

 

If the buyer escalates their case ebay will almost certainly enforce the return or may even force a refund without return.   That would also harm your account.   

 

So the best thing is to accept the return.   Get the item back and then issue the refund.   Put the buyer's ID on your blocked bidder list.
