Returning non broken item

I am waiting for an item to arrive back from a buyer who claims it didn’t work properly, I know for a fact it does work as I tested it personally. What happens when I receive it back and I find out it does infact work as I expected? They have requested the return under ‘defective’ etc and I have had to pay returns. Can I argue the refund at all? Also I am a business seller. Thanks

Returning non broken item

Yes, if the item is returned in good order,  you can appeal the decision for the refund,  claiming the buyer has abused eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy to receive their refund.

The link below explains how to appeal,  I'll admit it's not easy to win , eBay do not see the actual item,  and usually favour the buyer's version, but worth a shot.
