I purchased some trousers from Australia. The Seller's display indicated that I needed to order a Size 4XL to fit a waist of 140cms (or 54"). When the 4XL trousers arrived - they were far too small.
As I see it - the error is all with the sizing information that the seller published.
The supplied trousers are of no use to me - so I am trying to return them to the seller in Australia.
On the return's screen - I clicked on "The Item does Not Fit".
It appears that I need to finance the return postage myself. And it also appears as if the seller is allowed to deduct his original postage costs from any refunds. In effect - it would be easier (and just as cost effective) to throw these trousers away. Something appears to be very wrong with this returns policy.
I don't know how to speak with ebay about this situation. It is all extremely annoying !!!!!!

"Doesn't fit" is classed as a "change of mind" return, implying buyer mistake so they pay postage. Where it's the seller's fault you should use "Not as described" which sellers cannot refuse and have to pay postage (although ebay cannot always enforce payment of return postage by sellers outside the UK).
I doubt ebay will do anything but just in case you could see if they will change the reason for your return. You can contact them by requesting a callback on here:

Speaking to Ebay would be pointless.
You chose a 'change of mind' return reason so you are liable to pay tracked postage to return the trousers.
If the item is not as described in the listing, you need to choose the reason that is closest to that.
However, even if you had picked 'not as described' Ebay can't always compel overseas sellers to provide postage for returns.
Maybe try and sell the trousers yourself to get some money back.
