Hi can anyone on here help me out.I’ve contacted eBay but not very helpful with the issue.I believe I have been scammed with a scam where the buyer wants to return an item and when I return it back to myself,it says delivered but I haven’t received it.i l have seen that this has happened to some people on eBay regarding this.being a loyal and excellent seller of 13 years, the buyer has literally opened a new account in 15th of July,so red flags there! Has anyone been able to resolve this? As Royal Mail and eBay doesn’t seem to be very interested. Thanks

Did you provide the label through Ebay for the return?
Check the tracking and see where the item was returned to. If it was clearly not your address/postcode, then contact Ebay and ask them to look at the tracking.

It isn't a scam by the buyer. A buyer can't fake tracking that shows a delivery back to you.
Check around your property and any 'safe places' , ask the neighbours etc.
It is possible that the item was delivered but stolen.
Unfortunately, if the tracking shows you have the item back, Ebay will assume this is the case and will expect you to refund the buyer.
