We would need more details to help you.

Why are you returning the item is it faulty / not as described?

Are you returning an item for change of mind and the seller does not Accept returns?  Your return then will not go through.

What timeline are you working with?  If you are outside 30 days from the item's last estimated ate for delivery, no matter what the reason,  you are too late to claim from eBay, and need here,  to turn to your payment provider for help with a refund.

You don't seem to have bought anything on this account for ages.

Did you checkout as a guest without logging into this account?

As advised, more information will mean better advice.

If you bought as a Guest Purchase this will explain how to receive your refund.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/returning-items-bought-guest?id=40...

If you used your eBay account to buy this item,  follow this process:

You have received an item not as described,  so you are guaranteed a full refund under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  if you claim within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery.

You then go right of the item in your Purchase History,  and from More Actions select Return this item,  selecting the reason...  Item Not as Described.

The seller has 3 days to accept the case,  if they don't ,  you need to  escalate on day 4,  or within 30 days,  and eBay will step in and force the refund.

If the seller wants the item back first,  they need to pay for a fully tracked return postage.  On receipt of their item they have 48 hours to refund you.  Again,  if they don't,  you escalate the case.

Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give,  and do not forget to escalate.

That says you already opened a dispute with your Payment Institution. What was the outcome of that?

You must open a claim  with eBay first before trying a claim with an outside body,if you attempt a claim with anyone other than eBay then an eBay case cannot be opened.
