Return sent but not showing on eBay

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice regarding a return on eBay.

I opened a return request for an item (a safety gate) due to defects, and the return is currently in progress. Yesterday I took the parcel to a parcel shop and sent it back. I received a receipt with what I believe is the tracking number.

However, on eBay the status still shows that the item hasn’t been returned yet.

Is this normal? Does it usually take some time for the tracking to update in the system after dropping off the parcel?

If you used the return postage label supplied via ebay it should have automatically updated.    There may be a delay but you could contact ebay and see if they can check your return case for you.   You can request a callback on here:
