Return issue

Bought a machine from a seller , untested and used apparently in working order. When it arrived it was not in working order ,I opened a case eBay stepped in and it's now been returned via royal mail 48 tracking provided. The seller now opened a case for review saying it's not been received maybe I didn't return it ??? I have royal mail tracking to say it's been delivered ,and as it's under review I'm still awaiting my refund. What can I do as this stage ? Thanks in advance

Basically, just provide eBay with any information they require.

You have given us very little information. I assume that you opened a case under eBay's money back guarantee. I hope it was an "item not as described" case? If so the return will have been the seller's responsibility. Did they send you a prepaid return label? If this was sent through eBay and you used it, postal tracking will have been automatically included. If for some reason you bought the return postage yourself, you would have had to enter your own tracking number - which I think you have aready done, if this was necessary?

eBay generally goes by the tracking record, unless the recipient has evidence to prove that this is incorrect.

So on what you say, if seller does not refund, escalate your case to ebay.
