Return for replacement

It's safer for you to return for refund and then buy again if you want to.    Start a return on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
select "Doesn't match description" and if necessary escalate it to eBay after 3 complete working days.

Return for replacement

Thank you very much for that information.
I've now got my return label and return for refund first, rather than wait
for a replacement.

The point being that you only get one case, so in returning whatever the reason, if the replacement was also, wrong or faulty you could not open another case.

That is why we always say, get your money back, if you then buy again, it is a different transaction with full 30 day money back guarantee.

Oh, I had no idea about that.
I'm even more grateful for help now !
Bit crafty of the seller to ask me to return first than I think.
As you can probably tell I don't use ebay much, for this very reason.
Though I appreciate most sellers are honest and straightforward, I always
seem to have a problem !!
