Return and refund.

I sent a n item back as per eBay and paid the postage through Royal Mail because the seller refused to send me a returns label. It was received via tracking 2 weeks ago. eBay have closed the returns but I still have had had no payment. What can I do?

Return and refund.

If you'd escalated your case after 4 days ebay would have enforced the issue of a postage label.  Now the tracking is not on ebay so they have no proof the item has been sent back.   I doubt they will do anything now but it's always worth asking.   You can request a callback on here:

You do need to read about the Ebay Money Back Guarantee and, if you have another issue, follow the process carefully.

If you do contact Customer Services, they will remove the comments that the seller made in the feedback they left you.

Sellers are not allowed to leave rude, personal comments for buyers.

I sent a n item back as per eBay

But what does "I sent it back" mean? Exactly which procerure did you use, i.e. an ordinary return request or a money back guaratee case? Or did you just returen it privately, without following any of eBay's returns and refund procedures?

It's so frustrating when buyers ask for help but don't explain exactly how they went about sending items back or claiming a refund. You can't have used eBay's money back guaranee, or didn't use it correctly, as eBay would have required the seller to provide a prepaid label for the return.

If your case has been closed it may be possible to appeal eBay's decision - but probably not if you didn't use the procedure correctly. Otherwise, you may have to see whether your payment provider, e.g. credit or debit card issuer, can help. Good luck anyway.
