If the buyer opens a case stating the item is not genuine/not as described you will have to accept the return and refund.  If it isn't worth getting the item back, you can refund without return.

if you were properly registered as a business seller, you would have to accept returns for any reason and would need to build the cost of returns into your business model.

eBay tend to side with buyers and if the buyer has to escalate the return case that could harm your account and odds are ebay will find in their favour anyway.

So although it's annoying it is best to accept the return and put their ID on your blocked bidder list:

If you are buying to sell, you are trading and should have a business account.

Ebay say:

Do I need a business account?

If you plan to sell casually, such as selling items you no longer want, a private account is the best option.

If you want to sell large quantities, if you have items that you've made or bought to resell or if you already have a business outside of eBay, you’ll need to register a business account.
