I am trying to return a purchase. The seller said I should return it through eBay, but the purchase didn't show in my purchase history.
When I emailed eBay about this, I was told they would contact the seller, and I was covered under the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
They also said I couldn't find my purchase because it was made under a guest account. Not sure how that happened.
They initiated a full refund process on my behalf, and the seller will be responsible for the return shipment.
I then received an email titled 'Send your item back to seller'. I clicked 'See return details', but a 'Something went wrong' message appeared. I tried several times, but to no avail.
I tried everything to find how to return this purchase but I feel like I'm just chasing my tail.
Any ideas very welcome.

Have you had your money back?
It may simply be that the seller has chosen to refund you without needing the item back.

Ebay opening a case has almost certainly messed things up, but you probably need to go back to them for the return label you need.
The way to return a guest purchase is explained if you put 'guest purchase' into the help search box.
