I am trying to restrict sale of my items to people with feedback points under 5. I recently had an issue where a person with a new account and 0 feedback bought an item worth about 90£. I was uncomfortable selling it to them since feedback was 0(and the account was new) - I have had bad experiences with 0 feedback buyers before and so did not wish to proceed.
I had some settings in my profile where I could restrict anyone with under 5 feedback from buying my items(this used to exist, I cannot see this setting anymore).
I am an occasional seller and usually use FB marketplace. I cancelled the sale of the item mentioned above and resold again(thankfully) to someone with higher reps, though it was cheaper by 3£ than the original price. For me I just do not want to go through the hassle of having to deal with someone who is new to ebay - one of my last issues with a 0 feedback buyer was they they seemed to change their mind and then did not accept delivery of the item. Others returned the items after thrashing it and so I had to accept the loss and issue refunds. I mostly sell electronic items and hence its difficult for me to prove the working condition of items I ship - I do keep a track of serial numbers etc, but one buyer opened the item and send me back the item(with a changed internal unit which had burnt out). I had to issue a refund and then bin the item to keep my feedback intact.
What are my options - can I apply any restricitions for buyers, so that those with buying feedback less than 5 points cannot buy the items I sell.
