Remove ebay live *bleep* from the app

Hi, Is there anyway of removing / hiding the aggressive push of ebay live from the app?  ebay seriously *bleep*ing me off here, I don't care about any of that.  I contacted support but they didn't understand that I wanted it gone from the home screen and not just notifications.

As far as I know you can only stop notifications, you can't remove it from home page.   You don't have to have home page as your landing page.   Google for other ideas.
