Refund on Label.

Hi, I recently used InPost for the first time and sent an item free postage (so I paid).  The buyer did not collect from the locker, I made him aware it was there waiting and when he was down to 24hrs.  The item has come back to me. I contacted ebay and spoke to an agent who provided me with a link but because I used the label I am not eligible for a label refund.

I will refund the buyer even though I have not heard a thing from him, but I want to deduct the cost of the label from the refund.  Should I do this I know it's not much but it is down to him for not collecting it so to me it is the principle of the thing or just suck it up.

Many thanks

Re: Refund on Label.

There is no facility for making deductions, it is all or nothing. Only business sellers can refund less than full amount.

To be honest, buyer’s fault, let him request a refund. By agreement with buyer you could agree a partial refund, but if seller went about it the right way, through his payment provider, he could still get a full refund.
