Refund of Unused Prepaid Postage

Hello, a buyer bought 5 items from me.  Postage was not combined at time of purchase.  I packaged all 5 items into the one envelope and added the same tracking number to each item.  Only one label was printed and used.  The other four labels prepaid by the buyer were not generated and not used.  I understand that the buyer will get a refund for any unused labels - is this correct and if so, is there anything I need to do to ensure these payments are refunded to the buyer?  Many thanks

Simple delivery labels paid for by the buyer are automatically refunded.   I think it can take 30 days though.  You can't speed that up.

That is correct, as unfortunately there is still an issue with combining postage under the new Simple Delivery process.

Perhaps send the buyer a message explaining your actions, and this tech issue,  and they will be refunded for the unused labels,  but this can take 30 days for the refund to appear.

Be aware,  you now have only one tracking number , so no proof that all items were indeed dispatched.

Best thing to do in these cases is to cancel all orders,  of course explaining this first to the buyer,  and relisting as one item, then there is one tracking for all items.

Some sellers are leaving a message on their listing,  for example.....   ' If you wish to buy multiple items,  please let me know before buying,  I will relist them as one listing so only one postage cost is charged, combining postage is not currently possible. '
