I purchased 4 postage (royal mail) labels from ebay site. When i took them to my Post Office the server put them through the system and issued the labels and stuck them on! BUT the server then realised that there was insufficient post money/costs and I was then sold new (higher cost) labels and off they went. So now the problems is getting the original label costs refunded via ebay as the post office won't refund as labels purchased on ebay. I am told it is possible to do this but I can't do it !!! Ebay assistants tell me it's impossible as the labels have been used/issued BUT of course they have not been actually/physically used! HELP please.

It sounds like they might be considered 'used' if the server put them through the system and generated labels.
Try voiding them. This link will allow you to void or reprint postage labels. It can take up to 12 hours for your original label to appear before you can void it.

It seems like they can't be cancelled then, it's a shame that the Post Office server didn't notice this before issuing the labels.
You need to delete your personal information from your post, you must not put your real name, email and phone number on a public forum, any scammer can snag those and then make a very convincing contact with you.

I can't see a way to move forward here, I'd contact eBay in the morning and see if they offer any advice.
I’ve found that the easiest route to contact eBay Customer Services is via the link below:
