Hi all 🙂

I bought two items from a seller - one after the other. The only difference was one was an offer which they accepted and the second was 'buy it now' price. I realised the items were not going to arrive before I moved address so I contacted the buyer to ask for the 2 items to be sent to my new address. They said eBay policy stated they couldn't do that (but I've never had issues before) but the items were coming from Japan so maybe they needed the correct postage label. Anyway the seller said they would cancel both items and I would be refunded and I could buy the items again for the same price. One item was refunded within the hour by Ebay Commerce but the second refund has still not come through. I appreciate its only been 24 hours but Im confused as to why the second refund should take longer ? Should I be concerned ? Many thanks

Seller is correct, they only have ebay protection if sending tracked to address supplied by ebay.

So should not agree to change of address via messages.

You will have to hope they don't send 2nd items, as you will be liable for import fees,

if you refuse to pay these, you can't claim on ebay MBG.

Perhaps message seller and politely chase other refund.

FYI.

There are 5 different address to change, make sure you edit them all.

Thanks for replying and yes I can see that they needed the correct address via Ebay especially coming from Japan. I will wait for the second refund and purchase the item and ask to be sent as one parcel. Ive paid import fees from other countries and I have no issue with that. I was just concerned that one refund went into my account immediately and the other one says 3 to 5 working days. Kind regards coolblonde44
