Refund and selling fees

Because my buyer has decided it is too far to travel to pick up the item, he would now like a refund. Will I still get charged selling fees and if so, how much? If I get charged, I presume I deduct if from the refund? Thank you for any help with this.

Refund and selling fees

There are no selling fees on ebay these days unless it's a vehicle or you used a reserve.    Reserve fees are not refundable.

As the buyer wants to cancel you can cancel the sale, selecting "buyer requests cancellation" as the reason. You will not be penalised by eBay for this (sellers who cancel for their own reasons receive an account defect for not completing the sale).

eBay will process the cancellation and issue the buyer's refund. In case they ask you, it can take up to a month to be returned to the buyer's account, according to how they paid, but this is beyond the seller's control. The longest is if they paid by credit card.
