Received item , part not working

Good morning, I ordered a set of scissors from a company in America on the 2nd of February 2026. They arrived recently and I checked the cutting scissors to check the balance, as instructed by the instructions inside the zip up container.  These I then used on my hair this weekend, they worked and was happy with the results and how they cut. 

Today went to cut a family members hair shorter than mine and went to use the thinning scissors. These opened okay , but on going to close the scissors they wouldn't and the first two teeth stuck, they weren't stiff the scissors, they just would close. 

I took photos and asked the sellers advice , but haven't heard anything back. 

Do I have any come back as I have left feedback.

Feedback is not an issue.

There is no need to message seller.

You need to open item not as described case, seller provides returns label, you post back for full refund.

Escalate on day 4 if no label or refund.

As it was non UK seller, they probably can't issue international postage label.

This is why you need to escalate (ask ebay to step in) on day 4.
