RM48 Tracked QR Refused at PO

Had same problem as others today as QR code on x2 packages not accepted by local PO. Even tried a 2nd PO as original counter served by a learner! Same result. Noticed QR code had a central vertical & horizontal cross wire lines through it which it seems negated posting. PO had no clue as to problem.

Learnt on Community thread that there is a problem with Simple Delivery (a misnomer if ever there was one!) but was mostly concerned that we out here get detailed instructions on how to resolve/reprint QR etc. Any help welcomed as ever. Thanks all.

Any advice on how to reply to these posts please?

This is day three of this issue for sellers.

RM48 Tracked QR Refused at PO

Thanks @jckl1957 ,

Hi @rocketblue60 ,

The issue is on the Royal Mail end as their systems are not recognising the pre fix for the tracking numbers. They are aware of it and are working on it. The up to date information we have right now is that they are working to resolve it as soon as possible  and that post offices have been advised to accept the packages. We are aware some are still rejecting and unfortunately we have no control over that. Drop off lockers and collect + stores are accepting these packages as normal.

Thank you,

Kat

Many thanks for your prompt and useful answer that will be of use to many ebay users I'm sure! I will try the options you suggest tomorrow with hopefully positive results. Perhaps no surprise that RM are in the fail loop eh and trust the fault will be remedied soon!

Thanks again, regards, Tony

RM48 Tracked QR Refused at PO

Hi @rocketblue60 ,

Just providing an update below

The issue with the track48 YA labels has been resolved.  The Royal Mail systems are now accepting the parcels so you should be able to send them through the Post Office. If you were unable to send your parcels and new labels were purchased the original labels can be voided.

For Simple Delivery, the buyer purchased labels will automatically be refunded to the buyer within 30-40 days. For seller paid labels a refund request can be submitted through the webform within 14 days from the order date.

For non Simple Delivery eBay labels, they can be voided within 14 days by going to postage labels on your account.

There will be automated protections in place for impacted sellers for late shipment and INR service metrics.

Thank you,

Kat
