Purchaser paid cash, I cannot mark as paid

I gave the option to post or collect an item, the buyer collected and paid cash, but I cannot mark the item as paid and collected.

It says the buyer chose postage, but they did not.

Any ideas how I resolve this?

Cash is not allowed for collection items.  If you look at listings for collection there is no option for cash as a payment.

Not sure how your buyer managed to get your contact details,  as this would usually only be available after a buyer paid at eBay checkout.

You will not be able to mark this as collected,  the worse that can happen is the buyer,  if not honest,  can open a case for item not received,  and you'd have no proof it was collected.

eBay don't allow cash on collection any more but it's done now so can't be helped.   There's not really anything you can do now apart from cancelling the transaction.   The buyer hasn't paid through ebay so there is no collection code to give you and no postage label to cancel.
