Can anybody please explain.
I am not a regular seller, but I do sell medals (militaria), and I go through spurts of putting out a job lot of items at the same time, and maybe only once or twice a year.
I am now trying to sell, have been for days, and have had all the issue of 'Simple Delivery', that in my opinion is anything but, and is dictating for me the cost of postage at a rate less than I would normally charge for the service I want, 'tracked & signed for', and seems to be taking me out of the equation when controlling my own sales item, and placing me in the hands of EBay who are basing their assumptions on things they don't actually know, weight for example, if I am to send a group of medals with paperwork for example, so the postage price they are dictating now is less than it probably should be, so how do I deal with that situation at the Post Office.
Also, I am currently running a draft auction page, that is due to start on Thursday on a 10 x day auction, to finish a week on Sunday.........Simple you would think........however, I have gone into the draft again today, and overnight, (1) my 10 x day auction has changed to a 7 x day one.....(2) the button to allow offers has turned ON when I had set it as OFF......(3) the postage cost EBay has set is £3.46, but less than I have calculated which is more in the region of £4.75......(4) my internation postage costs, set at £12.50 to World Zone 3 (USA) with a refund in postage is below that amount, has now been removed completely, and it also defaults to Europe when I want it worldwide.
I appreciate that this is a lot, but I have now spent two days trying to advertise two items, and it has turned into such a nightmare, that I am seriously considering just cancelling the whole thing and looking at another more usable and workable platform to sells my items from now on, however, I have always managed to use EBay without any hassle, so I am questioning now why it has become so problematic and how many other users such as me are looking to jump ship.
Maybe a representative of EBay would like to explain why I am having these issues.
