Problems arranging collection

I’ve bought a potters wheel and am trying to arrange collection. The seller is trying to send me the collection address but it’s being refused by the messaging section, error says you cannot exchange contact information and need to do everything through eBay.  
Am I missing another way to get that information? The original listing says contact seller to arrange collection and just takes me to messages.

I have a three hour drive to get it and would really rather not do that if I can’t get the actual address.

eBay block messages about contact details untll after payment.    It is now against their rules to pay when you collect.

When I bought something for collection the other day email actually told me after I paid on one of the pages to contact the seller to arrange collection.  I think there was a contact seller button on that page.  

There was then no problem exchanging messages.  

What route are you using?
