Potential buyer questions

I have recently been asked by a potential buyer to provide the serial number of my product. Should I do this? It just doesn't feel right/safe to me but appreciate they may just want reassurance the product is genuine.

Depends on whether just the serial number is open to a use. 

As buyer is protected by the money back guarantee, and not as described returns work out expensive for seller I cannot see much harm in giving serial number. It would have been a good idea to include in pictures.
