Posting sold items

Hello,

I'm new to eBay and selling items. 

If someone experienced could break out this process into steps, I would be so glad. I want to be ready and prepared for my first sale. As far as I know I need to print out the labelling for my item which eBay provides, stick that onto my delivery bag and then post? Am I missing something? 

Also, does it matter which delivery bag I use?

You take the item to the Post Office for the label to be scanned , showing eBay the item has been dispatched.

You ask about posting bags?

If you are going to be selling clothing items,  personally I would not use those black lined plastic mailing bags,  as some give off an acrid smell akin to smoke which clings to the item of clothing, resulting in claims of item not as described and refunds.

From your username ID , and the one new item listed form sale,   if you wish to sell all new items you'll need to change your Private account to a business one,  see here:

1. Go to My eBay: Access your eBay account and navigate to My eBay. 
2. Account Settings: Click on the "Account" tab and then select "Personal information". 
3. Account Type: Locate the "Account type" section and click "Edit" next to it. 
4. Sign In (if needed): You may be prompted to sign in again. 
5. Choose Business Account: On the Change Account Type page, select the "Business Account" option.
