Hi all

Listed a pair of jeans for sale and never noticed the new Ebay postage protocols.

Sold jeans and posted myself and never used the ebay printed postage label.

Buyer has received jeans and provided positive feedback.

Ebay still shows the jeans as overdue for sending.

How do I rectify this?

What ebay postage protocol are you talking about?

Was there no means of marking as dispatched? You will get a defect for late postage.

If you intended to post yourself, why pick ebay postage, there are all usual RM services to choose from.  Did you use a tracked service, and if so did you load tracking?

I cannot see any way to correct this now, as once ebay think it is overdue for posting, it is not possible to go back in time.

TBH not sure, used to list items and put my own postage costs in which buyer would pay.

These jeans I cannot mark as sent as ebay wants me to print their Evri postage label despite the jeans having been sent and received.

It would be good to contact ebay and advise of the error when listing but I guess nowadays this is not possible.

The buyer has provided positive feedback and received the goods albeit I never got paid the postage.

My fault for not opting out of the new postage stuff but not sure what I can do.

Your buyer would have made a payment of £23.49 - made up of £20 for the jeans and £3.49 for the postage cost you put on your listing.

Try cancelling the Evri label - this link will allow you to void a postage label. It can take up to 12 hours for your original label to appear before you can void it.

Initially yes but then moved onto desktop as more options.

Going around in circles, about to delete listing as buyer has jeans and is happy.
