Posted item with my own courier

I haven't sold anything for years through ebay, sold something a few days ago, packaged it and posted it using Evri however my funds are on hold until I use ebay own postage service, which I wasn't aware of, item already gone, can't update to correct tracking information?

Open the original ebay label and that will mark item dispatched and you should be able to change the tracking.

Hold will apply as you would be classed as a new or returning seller. ebay is always cautious in these circumstances, in case your account has been hacked.

Once you have established a good track record, money is released within 24 hours.

However as I haven't used ebays postage service then the item will never show as delivered so I won't get paid for it?
