Posted an item which was for collection. Now I can't get rid of the item from my orders list.

So I'm in a catch 22, a buyer bought an item and selected collection. Then they pleaded it to be sent via post which I obliged. There's no selectable option to mark the item as collected, as I need the code from them. Long story short I think they are elderly and don't know the ins and outs. I don't want to hassle them. It's been 2 months and I can't remove the item from my list which eBay still thinks is ongoing. I don't expect an answer, I just thought I'd mention it.

There isn't an answer.

The advice we would have given you was to cancel the original sale and relist with postage.   Too late for that now.
