Postage

Hi, i have sold an item and the buyer has paid for postage. I tried using the qr code and they told me my parcel is 1cm too big so they won't accept it. I have messaged the buyer who cant change it their end either. Im thinking of paying to send it with other courier but ebay won't know if/when it's been delivered as not the right tracking number?

You can either cancel/refund the transaction with the buyer's agreement (via the dropdown actions menu arrow for the item on your orders list) and relist with correct postage for the buyer to buy and pay again.

Or you could buy and pay for the correct postage yourself.   And change the tracking via the More Actions dropdown menu or View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow.   That needs to be done on a desktop browser.

hi, thanks for your reply. i have added the tracking number as mentioned but now the postage status thinks i havn't posted the item even though it has been delived to the buyer already. 

im hoping that it will update soon.
