Postage to Jersey

My buyer says Jersey isn't included by eBay in UK postage. Is this true. Impossible to talk to an agent and I can't use the phone as I am deaf.

It's usually to do with Evri because they charge more for the channel islands, whereas Royal Mail charge the same as UK.   This causes problems with the postage.

The best thing to do is cancel the transaction with the buyer's agreement (via the dropdown arrow for the item on your orders page) and relist after removing Evri as an option here:

Then the buyer can buy again using Royal Mail.

If it's still running you'd have to end the listing early and relist after removing Evri postage preferences.   Or wait and see who wins.   If it's the Jersey buyer cancel and relist.

I have cancelled the listing but can't find the way to relist without Simple Delivery. 'Help' says you can use 'Custom' setting to remove Simple Delivery but I cant find the 'Custom' selling setting.

You can't turn off SD for most categories, and you don't need to.    You just need to remove Evri from your postage prefs before relisting.

I have removed Evri.

Postage to Jersey should be £3.04 as per Royal Mail site but Simple Delivery shows it as £3.38

Excellent.    Now relist the item and let the buyer know they can buy it using Royal Mail.    And that should be smooth sailing.    🙂

eBay puts the price up a bit when you exclude other couriers.
