Postage problems

I have sold a card today . I got the royal mail to do the delivery i paid the postage and handed to the post office but the order still says print label then post to the buyer yet I've already posted it anyone no why this is.

You are on ebay's Simple Delivery postage.    So the buyer pays ebay for the postage and you just print out the paid-for label and take the item with the label on it to your post office to send.

If you paid for postage that was on top of the SD label.    The buyer will get a refund for the unused label.   You will probably have to wait at least 14 days for the payment to come through.
