This message is about item number 267401582779, I did not intend to use the postal method as set and did not realise that by printing a postage label it would automatically invoke a charge and set the collection and delivery process in motion. The reason why I did not want to use the eBay option was because the weight was estimated way to low, this item weights 50KG, so the postage option was not viable. Could I get a refund? –and if so how do i go about it? bear in mind I have been with eBay for over 20 years and never asked for anything from you until now! The shipment number is 60120214644750 and carrier was DHL e-commerce. I have arranged the transport of the sold item myself outside of ebay

If eBay's Simple Delivery was used then, after 30 days, the buyer will get a refund of the postage they paid.

Thanks Vyolla!
I should have said that I selected the option that means I paid for the postage and the guy turned up to collect the item , that's when I realised i had made a mistake!

Hi Stephen - Thanks for that, obviously i was wrong and the customer has paid for it when then won the item, so it doesn't matter then, I will just send it myself separately, (I'm on with that now) but what I'm saying is that a carrier turned up to collect, so the customer paid and they will not get delivery that way. I now have to pay myself as the item was 10X the weight listed. Basically, thanks all for your help, its sorted -cheers!
