Postage fees

I did not use the eBay carrier. I paid the Post Office directly. EBay has not included it in my funds and therefore still owes me the £9 postage fee charged to the buyer. How do I claim it?

Was it the pump?

That sold with Ebay Simple Delivery so the buyer paid the postage fee directly to Ebay.

Because the label was not used, the buyer will be refunded by Ebay for the postage.

You can't access that payment as Ebay expect you to use the label they supply and the buyer pays for.

You could suggest to the buyer that they reimburse you for the postage when they get their refund from Ebay, but you can't make them pay you.

Postage fees

Do you mean you triggered,  but did not use Simple Delivery postage labels?  Then,  the refund for the unused labels goes to whoever paid for the label,  this way....

  • If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

  • If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

Refunds take 30 days to appear back woth the payer.
