I recently sold two items of clothing to a buyer and instead of asking me to adjust the postage, they marked one for collection. Usually I advise them to pay the postage for both and I refund the difference once I have posted them (this was stated in both my listings), or I send an amended invoice if they contact me before paying. I have been incredibly busy and stressed with selling my house and buying a new house recently and thought "I'll deal with that later". I have since posted the items but can't mark one of the items as posted due to the buyer selecting the collection option. Is there a way I can change this or can the buyer change it from their end?

If one was down as collection ask the buyer for the QR collection code. You can manually enter it in View order details for the sold item. If not the payment will be held for up to 21 days but you will get it in the end.

I'm afraid not now the item has been posted.
A collection item gives a buyer a 6 digit collection code and this when scanned by the seller, is the only way to mark that item collected ( dispatched).
Obviously this will be missing in your case, so the payout will be held for a minimum of 14 days before release.
