I use to set my postage to Royal Mail , it cost £3,29  now Ebay are charging me £3.74 and I cannot change it , I need to cover the cost of Packaging. Ebay you are spoiling this site for sellers and Buyers,

Yep,  with the new Simple Delivery,  you need to add any packaging costs,  to the item's starting price.

Currently,  it's not compulsory to use SD,  you can opt out if you like and use your own service and postage prices. 

When creating a new listing here's how to opt out:

Click on Collection then straight away back to and click on Postage Only, and the Custom option shows,  you are then able to select the postage service and cost you wish to use.

Or,  if there is a switch link,  click on ' Switch to Advanced Options' at the bottom of the postage section,  and once again when a pop up appears.
