I sold an item , the buyer choose Yodel for posting, but yodel stores said the package is too big for posting. What do I do ? Can I use other postage outside eBay and how will I get paid if I post outside eBay postage option that the customer choose?

You really have no option but to arrange alternative means of delivery, then cancel Yodel Label, but you cannot ask buyer for more.
I am afraid with ebay’s restrictive system you need to think ahead, I suspect it will cost a lot more than ebay’s guess. Sith hindsight you should have listed as a collection item.

The buyer had no other choice as you only had Yodel on your listing
You can still use Yodel but you have to use the Door to Door service which can be booked on their website as your item is too large for a store collection.

I arranged another delivery option and the customer has gotten the item but yet to approve it on eBay . The item has been recieved and a picture of the customers signature was recieved

Try View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown then change the tracking number,if this isn't possible ask CS if they can change it for you otherwise payment will be released after 14 days

Excellent,you should receive payment when eBay catches up with the new tracking number ,if it doesn't change in a day or two get them to call you back here
