Post office tracking doesn't seem to work

Hi, I sent two parcels on 27th, and they still have not been delivered. They're showing as still being in the post office when they're not. I can't see it likely the tracking will start working. And now I'm thinking the same might happen with 2 others I've since sent. Ebay says it's all guaranteed with simple delivery and the fee they add on for the buyer. But is that true for the seller as well? Or will they take they money. I can't see it likely both have been stolen or lost in the same way, and they were well packed, so I'm guessing they have been delivered and the tracking simply hasn't worked. No word from the buyers, but perhaps they're waiting to see if it updates

Where are you checking your tracking here on ebay or royal mail, sometimes they are out of sync so whilst ebay may say posted blah blah blah royal mail will say delivered or at superhub etc. RM send data to ebay every day in batches so that info may not have arrived.

If you are tracking the RM Website and it states at PO, depending on how its sent will depend on its next scan. If for example parcels are collected on day 1 in the evening, only the letter bag, 1st class and the green special bags will be opened. 2nd class bags(including tr 48 etc) will not be opened until the following day eg day 2. You could always check your tracking number by ringing Royal Mail as they have different screens and see additional data you and I don't. The RM customer services number is 03457 740 740

Thanks I'll check out the number tomorrow. But I doubt they'll have anything else on their systems, as by then it will be four days. I always click on the link to the Royal mail web site when checking progress.

Try and ring them earlier in the morning, its not usually such a wait then.
