Possible violation of Ebay policy by seller.

My Seller has cancelled my purchase as they have had their item valued following their auction and believe their  item is worth more.  I have been advised by Ebay assistant today to file a report against Seller for  potential abuse of  Ebay policy.

Despite 5 attempts the reporting submit button  is not working properly and a message keeps coming up saying there is a problem, try again later.

I have been doing this all day and of course there is no means of reporting this system error.

Very Frustrating!

Possible violation of Ebay policy by seller.

Forget that report.

No one can force a seller to send out a winning / paid for item.

However,  it is bad selling and eBay do not like unhappy buyers.

Contact eBay Customer Services again,  but only very first thing in the morning when the lines first open at 8 a.m. on weekdays as there's more chance of Dublin answering.  Outside those hours shown below do not call,  as it's an automated assistant.

Explain you have not agreed to any cancellation and are disappointed not to receive your item,  they will place a damaging defect on their account.  It doesn't take many to remove a private seller from eBay.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

As said, I  recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Possible violation of Ebay policy by seller.

Hi,
Thanks very much for coming back to me.
I spoke to an Assistant this morning explaining the situation and they told
me they couldn't do anything themselves but I should file a report against
the seller.

I have tried that 5 times throughout the day but having filled in the form
time after time and then tried to Submit I am advised to try again later.

Possible violation of Ebay policy by seller.

What reason did seller use for cancelling the sale? If “buyers request” you report that as you did not agree.

Have you left negative feedback, if not do it now, just say Seller did not honour the sale”, then no reason for seller to get it removed.

Did you try this to report -

Possible violation of Ebay policy by seller.

Hi John,
The auction was last Sunday night and I won the item and paid immediately.
The item should have been delivered either today or tomorrow.

It was last night when an Ebay notice appeared refunding my money.
There was no message or explanation from the seller.
I emailed the seller this morning to ask for an explanation and that was
when they informed me that they had had the item valued and heard that it
was worth more than the closing sale price at which point they cancelled
the sale and issued the refund.

This surely can't be allowed!
