I sent the package to the address provided by the seller, but instead of the tracking number, I registered the package number with eBay. I want to correct this.

See if you can change the tracking number at Purchase History > View return details.   See "Adding tracking to your return" on here:

If not contact Customer Support and ask them to change it by requesting a callback on here:
