Pending bank approval

I understand I'm a new seller and they need to verify everything under the sun. Why is it impossible to contact anyone without AI talking. I just want to have access to the money I received from a sale. The pending bank approval is taking forever and there is hardly anything on this in terms of understanding the process properly or how long it will be as it would be past the estimated time it put originally! 

Anyone else had this issue??

The verification process takes different times for different folks,  as can be appreciated eBay will not reveal their security measures when they check bank accounts,  but yes some may take longer to verify.

If you wish to contact Customer Services,  just to confirm if there is anything else you need to provide to verify your account,  there is now a direct link for a Call Back.

I strongly recommend contacting CS 8 a.m. on a weekday when the lines open for ' live agents' as then, there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Even after your bank details have been confirmed you are likely to have a payment hold for up to 30 days as you have sold an expensive item and have no previous sales record, details of payment holds are here

Simple enough, I am  sure that you would prefer money from sales went to your bank account and not some scammer. Used to take about 5 days to verify, although I have heard the fast way is still offered, which I used when first introduced, which took about 20 minutes.

You are a new seller who has sold a very high value item so Ebay will do their checks.

It is only 5 or 6 working days since your sale.

If you have carried out all the steps to add your bank account, and you have tracking showing the item was delivered, you could speak to Customer Services.  The link below will get you a callback.
