Hi can some explain why I got paid less than I asked, including postage?

Because ebay is a venue and charge sellers when they sell there items.

Your fees on the trainers would be about £1.93p.

If you bought postage through Ebay, they would deduct that as well.

You are charged a 12.8% plus 30p per transaction seller fee when your item sells. 

This is sometimes very similar to the price of postage you listed,  and it may seem that you have not been paid fort the potage charged.  Be assured,  these are the seller fees charged.

Don't forget there is a further .42% 'regulatory operating fee' as well now @tressygirl 

In my head, I am thinking fees are now 'about 13%'.
