I've received offers for several items from the  same seller that I want to  accept. It comes up with this message: 

"The item is gone but there's more to see

Some similar items that you can buy right now"

The items have got offers against them that I want.

I haven't ever had this come up in all the years that I've been with Ebay.

You sure the item is still for sale?  Perhaps someone nipped in and bought the item before you could accept the offer?

If the item is still listed,  send the seller a message explaining what you have found, that you wish to buy the item by accepting the offer .

Yes do all that.
It only occurs where the seller sent me an offer.
They are going to contact eBay directly. There's nothing that I have done
to cause it or do to rectify it.
I've never had it happen before in 25yrs of using eBay.
