Parcel scanned at Post Office (Simple Delivery Service) but not showing against item in Orders

Hi everyone, apologies if this has already been rasied and answered.

I sold an item for £10 and used the simple Delivery Service - printed label at home, took to PO where it was scanned and shows on my receipt. I expected the status on the item to change to Courier Scanned but is still shows "Dispatched - Label Created 2 Apr". I've messaged the buyer to see if they've received the item but no respone yet. So I'm not sure where the item is or even if PO think they have it.

Could you advice me what to do as I can't see anywhere I can raise a case as a seller?

Thanks

 Jerry

Sometimes tracking doesn't update but buyer still receives the item.   You don't want to involve ebay.     They will go by the tracking and could end up refunding the money to the buyer, regardless.     If you don't hear from the buyer assume they have the item and everything is OK.    As a new seller the payment may be held for 30 days anyway but you will get it in the end.

Your other option is ignore the slow updates that happen on ebay (they wait for data from the carriers) and check the Royal Mail site direct see what the tracking says there.
