Out of pocket

I purchased an item from a seller. Received the item ok BUT the sizes on the listing were wrong. Consequently the item does not fit.  I contactedthe seller who said they would refund.   I went through ebay proceedure, printed a return label off and paid postage for the item return at a post office.

The item has been returned to me marked by Royal Mail as address unknown.

I am well out of pocket as i received a refund for the goods less postage costs, but I paid cash for the return postage.   How do i contact EBay to complain, nothing was my error!  (i hope)

When you opened the return you would have ticked "Doesn't fit" as the reason for return, which in ebayland, is classed as a change of mind return, therefore paid for by the buyer.

You say you have been refunded minus te postage which is correct for the return you opened.

You should have used the reason"Does not match the description" - if you had done, the seller would have been liable for the postage cost.

You'll know for next time.
