Open a shop or continue as private seller for about 300 small items of workshop equipment?

I have closed my woodworking/metalworking business and sold all the larger pieces of equipment.

I have kept all the smaller items from self feed drilling machines and chop saws to spindle moulder blocks and router cutters to sell on eBay. There is probably several thousand pounds worth. The self feed drills of which I have about 30 sell for high prices in the US. The other items will appeal to both the business and diy markets.

Should I continue as a private seller or open a shop? I expect it will take at least a year to dispose of everything.

Any advice much appreciated.

Michael

Private sellers can have a shop.

There is probably no benefit to you at all to having a shop.
