One item has ended up with two tracking codes

I sold an item over the weekend and the winning bidder is in another country (I'm UK).  He paid promptly and I got the item posted the next morning.

However, I had purchased the postage direct from eBay but when I arrived at the Post Office it turned out that I'd mis-measured the size of the package and a new postage label had to be purchased (they could not 'add' value  to the existing postage label).

I've added the new tracking code to the order details but cannot delete the original one (ebay won't allow it as it's on the global programme).  The order now has two tracking codes - one of which is showing as delivered to the UK hub, the other (obviously) hasn't been updated and never will be.

What else can I do in this situation?  The order looks like it's waiting for a 'second' delivery and I'm concerned this is going to cause a problem.

The advice on ebay about this sort of thing was just to add the second tracking number.   No mention of removing the first one.   We can't do that on our own listings anyway.  You'd have to contact ebay and ask them.   For that you can use callback on here:
