Offer accepted but payment unable to be processed

I accepted an offer from a buyer but got a message saying EBay couldn’t process the payment

why would that happen ?

So youre the seller? Did you get the message from Ebay or did the Buyer get the message?

Could be various reasons if its just saying "cant process the payment" there may be issues with your card/bank details not valid or upto date  (if you got the message) or same for the buyer if they got the message - you need to be more specific
